Individual Therapy

Individual therapy with Hannah focuses on collaborative, goal-oriented work tailored to your needs, whether you’re addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or relationship concerns. Sessions blend evidence-based approaches with compassionate curiosity to build coping skills, increase self-understanding, and create sustainable change.

Is This Right For You?

Many high-achieving people come to therapy feeling confused: outwardly successful, inwardly worn down. Below is a short guide to common experiences we see and how therapy can help. If any of these descriptions resonate, you don’t have to figure it out alone—there are practical, evidence-based approaches that can reduce overwhelm and restore more energy, focus, and meaning to daily life.

  • High-achieving but constantly exhausted — You push yourself to meet goals, check every box, and still wake up depleted. That chronic tiredness isn’t a personal failing; it’s a signal your nervous system and lifestyle may need different support than you’ve been giving them.

  • Anxious despite doing “everything right” — You follow routines, plan ahead, and try to control outcomes, yet worry keeps showing up. Anxiety can persist even when external life looks well-managed; therapy can help you understand the internal rules and beliefs fueling that worry.

  • ADHD or suspected ADHD affecting daily life — You may excel in short bursts but struggle with organization, time management, follow-through, or emotional regulation. Getting a thorough assessment and tailored strategies can reduce overwhelm and make your strengths easier to use consistently.

  • Struggling with identity, culture, or belonging — Feeling uncertain about who you are, caught between cultures, or isolated in your community is painful and disorienting. Therapy offers a space to explore identity, values, and where you belong without needing to perform or fit a mold.

  • Dealing with a major life transition — Whether it’s a career change, relationship shift, move, or loss, transitions unsettle routines and sense of self. Counseling can help you process uncertainty, build new rhythms, and make choices aligned with what matters now.

You don’t have to fix all of this at once. Small changes, clearer understanding, and compassionate support can make these struggles feel manageable rather than defining. If any of these resonate, reach out to explore options that fit your goals and schedule.

What Our Work Together Looks Like

Free 15-minute consultation

A 15-minute consultation is a brief phone or video meeting to review your concerns, answer questions about our services, and determine if our therapists are a good fit. You’ll leave with clear next steps—whether that’s scheduling a full session, exploring treatment options, or receiving referrals.

Initial intake session

The initial 50–60 minute intake at Resilient Futures Counseling is a collaborative, nonjudgmental session to review your concerns, history, safety, and goals; explain confidentiality, logistics, and fees; and plan next steps or referrals—bring relevant records or medication lists and contact emergency services for immediate safety concerns.

Ongoing weekly or biweekly sessions

Ongoing therapy offers continuous support and tailored strategies to help you navigate life’s challenges, build coping skills, and work toward lasting change. Regular sessions create a safe, consistent space to track progress, adjust goals, and strengthen resilience over time.

Gaining resilience and healing

Individual therapy helps you build resilience by identifying patterns, developing coping skills, and processing past wounds in a safe, supportive space. Over time, these changes lead to greater emotional stability, clearer decision-making, and a renewed sense of hope.
